Can I install Xenon headlamps in my 2009 SLK 300?
So I finally bought my dream car….
SLK 300…lollypop red on beige leather with wood trim and a smooth 6 speed manual tranny…i’m in car heaven…
except for my stupid halogens.
It was the only manual SLK in all of Canada (apparently) and it came with every conceivable upgrade except the xenon lights package.
Is there any way I can install xenon lamps. Don’t need it for the highbeams really..just for the regular lights. Keep in mind it’s a leased car so whatever I do, has to be reversible.
No, it has to be factory installed. Its not recommended you install after market xenon headlights because it will most likey affect your bulb failure display on your cluster and the installer could damage the wiring.
