tire rack minivan
How do I decide on tire I want for my minivan?
I usually shop at Tire Rack.com. Then, I just buy Bridgestone Turanza EL400 White Stripe $84.00. I like to match all four same tire and just stick to it….
but every time when I go on their site, I see something different and recommendation for my particular car, and get confused. Like….
1) Yokohama AVID TOURING-S Blackwall
for 2001 Toyota Sienna $57.00
2) Michelin Harmony Blackwall $93.00
I know I like All Season Touring Tire, long lasting, good handling and comfort ride. If I did the search by these choices, they only gave me about 5 or so. But if I did the best seller for my van, they showed totally different tires and I get attempted to the “best seller” tires as well especially some tire price is like $60 instead of $90…. i do not know what to decide.
I do not know much about cars and tires, so I thought some good advice from really educated auto experts and knowledgeable guys out there to help me?
They’re trying to make money right? They will probably try to sell you “high performance” type tires for your mini van which you don’t need unless you race it at the track a lot, which I doubt 
Try to find a tire place in your city or close to home as it’s easier and you usually get a guarantee and something free, like an alignment or something. They also do all the work for you. If you do basic driving, get basic tires.
