“>>>Who He Was, What He Did, Why It Matters>>> >Readers of the Bible today are faced with over 200 years of critical Biblical scholarship telling them that the church doesn’t see the real story of Jesus in the Bible. In Simply Jesus, Wright seeks to answer the question: How do the church and Christians communicate the mission and accomplishments of Jesus to a world that does not know him? Wright explains how the new paradigm makes the gospel and Jesus so much more appealing, relevant, exciting, and directly tied to our work here and now. Like his previous bestselling book, Simply Christian, this book will be the go-to book for all people looking for a basic but thorough understanding of who Jesus was and what that means for us today.>>>About the Author:>> >N.T. Wright is the former Bishop of Durham in the Church of England and one of the world’s leading Bible scholars. He is now serving as the Chair of New Testament and Early Christianity at University of St. Andrews’s School of Divinity. For twenty years he taught New Testament studies at Cambridge, McGill and Oxford Universities, and he has been featured on ABC News, Dateline, and Fresh Air. Wright is the award-winning author of After You Believe, Surprised by Hope, Simply Christian, The Challenge of Jesus, The Meaning of Jesus (co-authored with Marcus Borg), as well as the much heralded series Christian Origins and the Question of God.> >>>>Product Details>>Page Count: 208>Dimensions: 9.0″ (L) x 6.0″ (W) x 0.8″ (D)>Release: 10/25/2011>”

Yoko Arimoto, arguably Japan’s most popular expert on home cooking, is famous not only for her simple, healthy recipes, but for her stylish food presentation as well. The author of over 100 best-selling cookbooks in Japanese, Arimoto travels extensively and has homes in London, the Umbria region of Italy, and in both Tokyo and Nagano, Japan. From her experiences entertaining and cooking for all kinds of people, she has gained an understanding of differences in tastes and perspectives, enabling her to add an international flair to her native cuisine. In Simply Japanese, Arimoto presents about 60 recipes divided into several sections: seafood, meat, vegetables, tofu, deep-fried foods, rice and miso soup. The recipes are designed for the home cook — not professional chefs — and most don’t require special ingredients or multiple steps. Rather, they are for creating casual dishes typically eaten in a contemporary Japanese home. Arimoto uses basic ingredients such as soy sauce, sake and nori, all readily available in the U.S.; and emphasizes fresh vegetables and local fish and meats. To liven things up, and to challenge the more adventurous cook, she does include some dishes with more exotic ingredients such as tarako pollock roe and yuzu citrus, found at Asian grocery stores. Methods range from simple procedures like learning to make teriyaki salmon and cornmeal shrimp tempura, to the 20-step process of making tofu from scratch. Each finished dish is shown in a beautiful photo, styled by the author using her own, everyday tableware. The key points of each method are also illustrated in detail with color photos, along with the author’s helpful comments and quick tips. Arimoto provides a full explanation of the Japanese culinary style, from how many dishes are served and the kinds of plates used in the home, to the philosophy of healthy eating. Additional sections cover such topics as essential seasonings, home kitchen equipment and cooking techniques, directions for making dashi stock, and other supplemental information.

An autobiography usually recounts the life of a person who has achieved wide acclaim in one field. But this extraordinary book describes the life of someone who has achieved international acclaim in three fields! Ervin Laszlo was a child prodigy on the piano and grew up to become an internationally celebrated virtuoso. By the time he reached his 40s however he had become a famous scientist and philosopher and had written a dozen books and more than a hundred articles. He also taught at major universities in Europe the U.S. and the Far East. Shortly thereafter he gained world renown as a global visionary heading research programs at the United Nations and founding an international think tank (the Club of Budapest). But this book is not an autobiography in the traditional sense. In Laszlos own words: I dont like talking about myself about what makes me tick and why. Writing about all the things that have happened to me is different. This is storytellingthe telling of a real lived story: my story as it unfolded over the years. Join the author on his remarkable journey from his days as an internationally acclaimed concert pianist . . . to his profoundly personal quest to effect positive global transformation!

How come in my copy of L4D2, there is no gore and the zombies simply disappear when you kill them?

When I play Left 4 Dead 2, the zombies simply fade away when you kill them. If it helps, the weather effects seem stilted as well and the zombies just flail around (they’re not on fire) when you shoot them with incendiary ammo or a molotov. I’d like to know how to fix this because it hurts the enjoyability of the game.

You probably have the Australian Version of L4D2, they censor it in australia because one of the uncommon infected in The Parish campaign is a Riot Police Zombie, so they censored it for “Violence against authority figures” which I think is complete BS, sorry dude but you need to get the US version
