Would this make an awesome sleeper?
I was thinking this would be a fun sleeper to build -
1992 Buick Roadmaster station wagon with wood trim…like this:

Engine: 408 Chevy small block V8 with TPI fuel injection and low boost single turbo with intercooler (600hp, 650-700 torque goal)
Trans: Heavy duty 6-speed manual
Gears: 3.73′s
It wouldn’t hook very well unless it has wide tires, but it would be a great tire smoker and would toast most performance cars once it gets off the line.
Actually the weight would work for you with that much power, all that glass and steel over the rear axel would help you hook up with narrower tires. I used to know a guy that would buy old dodge wagons and beat the heck out of stock camaros and mustangs regularly. Big Block/727 dana 60 swaps. They never knew what hit them.
