Why is it that every time I get out of my car and touch the door, I get shocked?

This used to not happen… But now, everytime I drive my minivan, and I park it, turn it off, and get out, I get shocked when I go to close the door… I tried doing things like touching the plastic part first, or running my hand over the glass window, to possibly remove whatever static-ness I have on myself and prevent me from getting shocked, but it never fails! Morning, night, rain, sun, hot, cold… It seems starting about 3 weeks ago, I get shocked EVERY time. Why? Sometimes it’s not too bad but sometimes it’s quite a shock.
