The Welcome Wagon………?
This lady, July, has called me at least 15 times since my daughter was born late October re: leaving a pkg with me. She just called and I missed the call as my cell was on silent, but what exactly is in this pkg? From what I remember of my Aunts, it’s just a bunch of coupons and what not. Right?
I live in Canada. It’s a thing the hospital puts your name in (I think) and they’re supposed to come visit you and give you something.
At first I was ignoring her calls because of the swine flu and the fact the lady was going from place to place etc…
The Welcome Wagon lady came to my house after my son was born. The package is a bunch of stuff donated by local businesses for advertising really… we got a few things, some suckies, a bottle, a sample size bottle of lotion for me… and a TONNE of coupons or vouchers to pick up something for free in the store.
in my opinion… not really worth it…
