What used car should i buy?
I’m buying a used car. (I’m a college srudent)
I don’t have too much money, but I’m selling my dad’s minivan for around 4000-5500 dollars.
So I’ll use that money to buy myself a car.
Any suggestions for cool cars.
Here are some cars I like.
2005- Nissan Altima
2004 Mitsubishi Lancer
Ford Fusion (I don’t think I can afford that one)
Audi A6

If were to get an Audi A6 or A4
I would get a 2000 or 1999 one.
P.S. I dislike Toyotas with great intensity.

Okay it is impossible to find those cars you listed in normal reliable condition for up to $5,500.
2005 Altima that is under 100k miles worths more than $8000
2004 Mitsubishi Lancer under 100k miles will worth more than $7000
2000 and newer Audi a6 under 100k miles will worth above $10,000
so do the maths. dont always seek your ideal car because you may not have enough money to afford the car. BTW Audi A6 and A4 is bad idea even they are cheaper and look attractive. okay let me give you some idea of why Used Audi is bad. lets assume you buy a 2000 audi A6 for $8000 and you felt happy and excited because you drive a cool car (audi). when that car need repairs one day the parts will be double as for non luxury cars. transmission worths like 5k-7k. electronics worth up to 3k. can you handle paying for repairs that will worth up to $10,000? why is parts expensive? well its because the 2000 Audi worths up over $40,000 when it was new and parts are one of the best qualities parts make the car worth a lot. so dont buy a used luxury used car. its not worth it.
if you want to buy either the Lancer or Altima. i suggest you to trade the minivan for one of the car (between the Altima and Lancer) and you can finance the rest of the cost every month.
