Should I be aggravated by my aunt?

My aunt and her husband recently retired and moved back to the area. Together they receive over $3000 a month from retirements plans, etc. They have a very nice home, a Hummer and a minivan, hot tub, flowers and plants galor around their home, just had front and back porches built in. and much much more. My husband and I might make $1500 a month and have 2 children. We can barely make our car payment and put food on the table and make our normal bills. There is no way that we could afford to anything as extravagant as they do. The problem here is that she is ALWAYS complaining about being poor and on a fixed income. She also got a substantial amount of money after my grandmother passed away. She’s always complaining about other people taking advantage of her and she not having the money to buy dinner for someone at McDonalds. Am I being petty or am I right in thinking that this is just nuts. If I’m right… what should I do?

i think your right the way you feel about her actions. But the thing is most people get use to a way of life and any less his hard. And it can bee very difficult if you have more then others for everyone thinks you should share it with everyone. But if they have work hard for what they have then they do deserve to enjoy it. my advice is to avoid them as much as possible, work hard and some day you may be able to have that kind of life. If you do just remember to enjoy it and not give false humility with it.
