What car should I trade in to buy a minivan: 2002 Camry or 2005 Trailblazer?
Both cars are paid off. Camry has 97,000 miles and runs fine, no known issues, not part of recent recall. Trailblazer has 65,000 miles, service engine light is on, driver side mirror needs replaced, key entry is broken on driver side, strong smell of gasoline when started that lingers way too long, gas gage is broken so it always reads as empty, dent in front bumper. Of course there is the gas mileage issue too, since which ever car we keep will be driven at least 60 miles a day. So is it as simple as keeping the newer car? Thanks!
I went to AutoZone for the Chevy and there are 3 possible causes for the engine light: 1-circuit relay defective or fuse open, 2-check connector and wiring, 3-Air pump defective or hoses blocked. Do any of those seem related to the gas smell? Also great tip about AutoZone’s free diagnosis!
Seems like a no brainer to me!
