anybody know of a good roof rack for a minivan?
i have a 2000 Toyota sienna minivan and i want to get a roof rack system. what do you think of this system?
http://www.jensonusa.com/store/product/RA604A00-Rockymounts+Noose+Sl+Roof+Rack+Tray.aspx
i need something cheap but sturdy. does this type of system place any excess stress on the bike in any way?
i already have the crossbars on the roof, so this is all i need, right?
i get the point about exposing the bike to wind and the danger of driving into a garage. i have a trunk mount that i can use when it rains. but when its nice outside, i want an alternate way to mount my $3500 bike. if i strap it to the trunk rack, it rubs off the pretty red paint, lol.
Do not use a roof rack. You will, not maybe, you will run it into the garage. Sounds like you have decided on a roof rack anyway. You have been warned.
Good Luck
