Is it a good idea to invest $9000 in a 2005 Lincoln Town Car Signature with 17,000 miles?

A family member has died and the estate is being sold off. Would it be worth it to buy and then re-sell this car again?

It’s in excellent condition with no history problems at all as reported by Carfax.

A vehicle is never really an investment, they lose value with time for the most part.

That being said, perhaps you could buy it and then sell at a profit, but keep in mind it might annoy other family members and lead to hard feelings.
