Does Bahamas immigration stamp your passport if your cruise ship docks there for a day?

I am on a non-US passport and a bahamas visa, with a multiple entry US visa. However, if i goto any country other than the US or Canada, I will have to get a new visa to go back to canada as my temporary visa for canada has expired. Does anyone know if Bahamas immigration stamps your passport if you take a cruise from Miami to Nassau for a day?
