What do the codes P0404 and P0302 for a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country minivan mean?
We’re having some trouble with my van and these are the codes that come up on my instrument panel.Can someone tell me what it means or where we can look to find out before having to take it to the repair shop?
P0404 EGR Position Sensor Rationality
EGR position sensor signal does not correlate to EGR duty cycle.
Problem with the EGR solenoid, back pressure transducer, or EGR valve, vacuum signal, etc.
P0302 (M) Cylinder #2 Mis-Fire
Misfire detected in cylinder #2. Any condition that causes #2 cylinder to misfire, I would address the first code and see if that fixes the 300 series code, although you could inspect the spark plug, and plug wire and coil pack for obvious problems
