a crossover utility vehicle such as the ford taurus x, buick enclave, saturn outlook, gmc acadia, or mazda cx-9 are stylish alternatives to minivans which still get decent gas mileage while seating 7-8 passengers. ive been in the car business for many years as well and strongly suggest one of these. especially the mazda cx-9 is a very good car for the price. good luck!
