2001 honda odyssey minivan
Would bigger wheels and low profile tires be any good on a minivan?
The van is a 2001 Honda Odyssey. Please also give me pros and cons.
They would look nice but you would hate the ride they would produce. Low profile tires require much higher tire pressures which is bad enough in itself. Now roll the fact that you now have lower profile tires into the equation it makes your Honda’s spring rate increase.
I know you’re thinking: What do tires have to do with a cars springs? As the profile of the tire goes down it produces a stiffer more harsh ride. As a tire sidewall gets smaller and air pressure goes up it combines to alter a car’s spring rate to make them stiffer.
