Would you recommend 99-00 Durango?

Im looking a Durango i have found 2 I like in my price range.I found a 99 and a 2000 model. I have heard of a few problems with them. Do you think they are worth the money? Are they reliable? I have 3 small kids and need something that wont leave me on the side if the road. I dont want to have to drive a minivan. Minivans are my last resort.

Have a 98, 95,000 miles. NO ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS..NONE..No Smoking..have no idea where that came from???
Did lose top front ball joints. Had to add shim in slide of electric seats..One sensor had to clean on output of shaft from tranny. No transmission problems.
One battery. Readjusted front torsion bars once..Ok Ok..so I wanted it to ride higher.
Three seats, 31″ tires…great.
Try to get the limited slip rear end and 3:56 gears..3:92..gears..two-three MPG less..but great get up and go!!
